Google mock interview practice with a voice interviewer.
A Google mock interview with Remy focuses on what candidates commonly report: several coding rounds where explaining your approach matters, system design for more senior roles, and a conversation about how you work with others.
What Google interviews commonly test
Problem solving, narrated
Talking through the approach and its complexity before and while you code, and adjusting when the interviewer adds a constraint.
Clean, correct code
Code you can walk through line by line, with the edge cases handled and tested.
Collaboration and leadership
Stories about working through ambiguity, disagreement and helping others, told with specific detail.

The Google question pool
Rounds draw on the questions below. When we have recent reports from Google candidates, Remy frames the question the way they described it.
A loop, not a single round
Mix coding, system design and behavioral rounds into a plan that counts down to your onsite, then redo the moments that slipped.
Say the trade-off before you start coding.
“I'll just use a hash map and sort it, it's probably fine.”11:40 · right before you started typing
“A heap keeps this at n log k. Sorting everything is simpler — I'll start there and say why it's fine for this input.”

About Google mock interviews
Does a Google mock interview need a specific language?
Coding rounds in Interview Hero use Python 3. If you interview in another language, the reasoning and communication you practise still carry over.
How many Google mock interviews should I do?
Enough that thinking out loud feels normal. Most people notice the difference after a few rounds, when the report stops flagging the same habit.
Can I practise the follow-up constraints Google interviewers add?
Yes. Each coding problem comes with follow-ups, such as an input stream that never ends or a thread-safe version, and Remy asks how your code would change.
